As today is 22/2/22 Mariana was hoping for some luck, but none was needed as she simply drove as she knows she can and came with away from Portsmouth test centre with a well deserved pass. When I first met Sam she wanted to learn to drive but didn’t ever want to go more than 5mph. Now she can drive at sensible speeds on all types of roads and this was confirmed by the examiner today in Portsmouth where she passed first time with only 3 minor faults. Congratulations Sam, all your hard work and reluctant bravery has paid off and you really did do it today. Now you can relax and enjoy driving wherever you want to go with that smile still beaming.

Ilona doesn't do things the easy way and it's been quite a journey (literally !!) to get here but today she passed her driving test in sunny Portsmouth. Congratulations Ilona, it was always great fun and sometimes stressful, but you did it and I hope to see you out on the roads soon.

Steven was finally able to make the transition from biker to car driver today in Portsmouth just in time to start his new job in his smart suit.

After months of waiting Gus braved the Portsmouth weather today and drove to a fantastic first time pass with just 2 minors. Congratulations Gus, that was a great drive and I am so happy for you that the wait is over and you can finally get out on the road in your car. Maybe your Dad will let you have a go in his one day !!

Practical tests finally started again today and Morgan has been waiting

patiently ('ish) to take his driving test since lockdown started. At 8am this morning the wait was over so he went and passed first time with just 1 minor driving fault. Congratulations Morgan, this was a great result and thoroughly deserved.

Thank you for the pen, that was a nice surprise and very much appreciated especially as you made it yourself...

Claudia set herself the challenge to learn to drive and start a new career in teaching at the same time. To make it more interesting she took her test in an area she does not know as no suitable tests were available in Chichester. Not only that, most lessons took place in the pleasant sunshine of the least few weeks but torrential rain was waiting for her on her test in Portsmouth early this morning. Not fazed by any of this, I am delighted to say Claudia passed her driving test first time today after less than 3 months of lessons.

Congratulations Claudia, all your hard work paid off and you deserve your success and the freedom it brings. You will make a great driver and a great teacher.

Michael was ready to take his test in March but had to wait until today to finally take his test and he nailed it with just 2 small faults. Congratulations Michael and particularly well done for staying calm and getting on with it despite difficult COVID-19 circumstances. Enjoy your freedom and maybe you should bring your mum home from the pub at least once !!

This is Armaan looking happy and so he should as he kept his nerves under control and passed his test in Chichester. Congratulations Armaan, it's been quite a journey with plenty of laughs to get to this stage, but your hard work has paid off and you thoroughly deserve it. Good luck with car hunting.

Dan managed to make his life much easier by passing his driving test today in a misty Portsmouth. What's more he did it in style (typical Dan) with just 3 minors. Congratulations Dan, this sets you up nicely for the arrival of your baby and means you can get all those jobs done you've been putting off. Have fun with your new car and drive safe.

Not even a cold grey damp foggy morning and all the traffic that goes with it could stop Evan passing his driving test with just 3 minors in Portsmouth this morning. Congratulations Evan, it was a great drive and I hope having a car doesn't interfere with your stong man training... remember, you can still run to the gym !!

No wonder Alice is so happy, she passed her driving test today in Chichester with just 2 minors. This is particularly satisfying as Alice helped me with my test to qualify as a driving instructor when she first started driving. Congratulations Alice, you worked hard for this and kept me on my toes with all the questions but it was always good fun.
