When I first met Sam she wanted to learn to drive but didn’t ever want to go more than 5mph. Now she can drive at sensible speeds on all types of roads and this was confirmed by the examiner today in Portsmouth where she passed first time with only 3 minor faults. Congratulations Sam, all your hard work and reluctant bravery has paid off and you really did do it today. Now you can relax and enjoy driving wherever you want to go with that smile still beaming.

Practical tests finally started again today and Morgan has been waiting

patiently ('ish) to take his driving test since lockdown started. At 8am this morning the wait was over so he went and passed first time with just 1 minor driving fault. Congratulations Morgan, this was a great result and thoroughly deserved.

Thank you for the pen, that was a nice surprise and very much appreciated especially as you made it yourself...

Claudia set herself the challenge to learn to drive and start a new career in teaching at the same time. To make it more interesting she took her test in an area she does not know as no suitable tests were available in Chichester. Not only that, most lessons took place in the pleasant sunshine of the least few weeks but torrential rain was waiting for her on her test in Portsmouth early this morning. Not fazed by any of this, I am delighted to say Claudia passed her driving test first time today after less than 3 months of lessons.

Congratulations Claudia, all your hard work paid off and you deserve your success and the freedom it brings. You will make a great driver and a great teacher.

Michael was ready to take his test in March but had to wait until today to finally take his test and he nailed it with just 2 small faults. Congratulations Michael and particularly well done for staying calm and getting on with it despite difficult COVID-19 circumstances. This is particularly satisfying as Alice helped me with my test to qualify as a driving instructor when she first started driving.
